Another lovely start with blue sky - forecast for slightly warmer today although Allen ( wints) did say it was 29 c in the shade behind his van yesterday!!

Need to find supermarket today and stock up - pulled into one yesterday and got to entrance to find 2.5 m height barrier!!!

Thursday going to watch the Mercians parade through Stockport when they receive the freedom of Stockport they are back from Afganistan

then shop and iron and see to motorhome for weekend and the rest of the week

going to Carriage house then home i think for the night then down to Aberjelly
and the funny thing is I am now going to check the campsite out for a week in August as we can do visits with the kids eg Castles,beach,Great Orm,Punch & Judy, Old Colwyn all the places
we use to keep away from

Pauine is at the hospital this morning for a minor op-I'm off to Pugneys at wakefield for boating weekend -but wind forecast may put a hold on my sailing

well they got the weather forecast wrong here,instead of rain/showers its   cracking the flags.

still not well though,headaches and aching all over.

M/H back home safe and sound and the repair is seamless ,cant tell where it was, so some good news at last

Back from Pugneys -where I had some wild sailing on Saturday and then not enough wind Sunday!
Held up on way home on M1 as someone had collided with a horse and there were long tailbacks.
Another busy week starting with the dentist later this morning

now on antibiotocis ,bad chest,headaches are gone ,but as soon as i am well margarita has a list of to dos .

Hope you get fighting fight before long Frank, don't want to let Margarita down with those jobs.

Barbs doing the same with me, going around finding lots of jobs that have had no attention for months and a bit of sunshine and she wants them all done,

Like Bob  I seem to be working full time round the house and garden , and not seeming to get to the end of it , Rina like Barb keeps finding more  

must be getting better,having a scotch ,first drink in 6 days.

Hope you are feeling fully fit soon Frank -it must be the sun that affects these women-Pauline is just the same-always going on about the jobs that need doing! Then when I start and ask her if she is helping she says she can't work with me! - a good excuse!

Good morning all, a nice start here in  Southport so after a trip to the bank we will be going along the Promenade for a good walk, then to get more compost for the potting of the dozens of plants we got on the way home last Sunday.

i have blown my nose that many times in the last week.i now have a red nose ,and it looks as if its gone bigger ,when i asked my margarita what she thought,she said its all in my mind,

What ever you do Frank do not shave it like in Spain, you just got a summer cold, that's a laugh "summer"  has it started yet.

Spent yesterday jet -washing all the front drive ,garden path and patio (mans'  favourite DIY toy) but now have bad back .
Also strimmed and mowed lawns after sanding down patio table and chairs which Pauline then painted

Will be glad to get away for a rest!

Lovely had Rob's company foe a couple of days then he retreated back home had enough of my chatting I think 

The place as changed it was quite and clean looking 

Booked the on the caravan site for a return visit in August with daughter and grandkids

Yes good place to stay THS £8 p/n and bus stop outside Tesco 5min up the road and 15 minute stroll to the beach

Is it the place near the old castle, where you have to drive through the archway?

We stayed there a couple of year back, we were on the campsite though, on the left hand side, was only a 2 night stay but enjoyed the walk round the old castle grounds, and the looooong walk to the beach

Morning all, a wee dull here this morning but the promise of   later on so going to get the M/H sorted out for a trip too Bridlington via Baza's gaff (have to restock the vin cellar) and have our celebrations that we missed in France recently due too unforeseen circumstances.

well there is an Emergency General Meeting location Siddington village hall on 27th June 7.30pm start time. this meeting is needed in order to keep necda going

At the petrol pumps in Tesco accosted  a motor homer and asked does he use the Internet and when he said he did I gave him a card . It was busy so no time for explanations.

Just back from our trip to Germany & France, left Tugga over there just hoping she makes it back ok. Emptied the van so now its the washing but at least the sun is shining.
