Another lovely start with blue sky - forecast for slightly warmer today although Allen ( wints) did say it was 29 c in the shade behind his van yesterday!!

Need to find supermarket today and stock up - pulled into one yesterday and got to entrance to find 2.5 m height barrier!!!

Funny that Pete snowing in January, its winter here as well, we had snow when we arrived driving over the moutians toward Salamanca but every junction has a snow plough in standby,  very rare to get stuck on a  Spanish motorway.

Hi from a very pleasant 18 ° loads of sunshine and just a wee breeze today. Off down to Santa Pola for a nice fish meal as Barb will not cook fish in the van.

Am I behind the times -daughter left box for me to bake some cookies with granddaughter (2)
we mixed . rolled and cut the shapes and then put then on supplied baking sheets with toy story pictures on -once cooked these pictures had transfered to cookies- amazing !!
Also did jigsaw of sea creatures with her - asked her what one was and she said a clam -surprised she was correct!

We have had rain overnight but now it is a sunny calm day.

Can't believe we are escaping the bad weather when I have seen the pictures on television of the south coast.  Would like to see the angry sea but feel really sorry for the people whose property is in the 'way'. 

Believe this country should learn from all the floods and stop building on flood plains.  That is what the Somerset Levels are for. I know someone who lives on Bleadon Hill, Somerset and their friends, who live on the Levels say if he buys a boat they know they are in trouble    Will ring them later  

Just turned 22* and a cloudless sky, had to take cover as it's too hot at 13hrs. 

Yes Joyce you have to feel for those unfortunate people in Somerset and the lack of proper help from our so called government.

weather in the algarve is the pits,  .so on the move very soon.almeria i think.

Lovely sunny day here again.  Feels like spring is in the air - but of course we know different - well according to the weather forecast we do.  

Bob the government have promised something like £130m for the southern storm hit areas and we have heard Princes Charles and Wiiliam have also sent funds. 

The Army were sent down to Somerset from a base near here to help but the Somerset Fire brigade said they could cope without them  

Noisey weekend ahead for us, 2 kids until Monday morning   
We usually go away the weekend after I have done Mon,Tue,Wed night but not this time

22* and hot most of yesterday then a 10 minute shower and now all is sunny again, having great time, love to all and see you in March sometime.
