Went to let the dogs out while it was dry Bit hard trying to dry off 5 dogs ok 2 have short haircuts like Izzy but the other 3have coats to die for well if you were a cocker Took my kindle brewed myself a coffee and a choccy biscuit(that I took with me) and then the heavens opened so they came under cover . I went back to my kindle only to find out the book I wanted to read was not on there. I tried to sync but no internet and the internet available was locked. Uggggh Well what's the saying about best laid plans? Now I am ready and will check it is charged up for tomorrow morning

Morning
Last night suddenly remembered I once bought a silver screen from Aldi I think last year so managed to pop it on my car window ready for Thi morning As I didn't fancy slipping on the ice in the silly hours of the morning
So I was surprised to see we had a wet morning instead of frosty morning
Yes very wet
Decided to leave the crafty morning this week
To much toing and froing
Let's hope the weather picks up

| Sunny afternoon here but forecast is for rain and gales tomorrow.
Wish the jet stream that is causing all the wet weather and floods down south would move to the top of Scotland. I asked Dad if he had ever seen the southern floods and storm surges in his lifetime - he said no - makes it even more frightening. Lets hope the Dutch? can drain the water quickly from the Somerset levels.

| We have had our first cold day since we got here in Spain and what a difference a day makes :-) your struggling to get any wifi as there are over 1000 camping here at the present time and everyone looks like there tinternetting.
I have been trying to send some posts and messages all day and have just managed to get on as their all having dinner, I am just having a vino Tinto after my shower.
I hope as well that the Dutch can solve the flooding, our Dutch neighbour said it would never have happened in the Netherlands but they will sort it out as long as it stops raining long enough.

| Good Morning all We had two inches of snow last night and it lasted all of five minutes. Then frost and now we have heavy rain but not the gale force winds forecast - yet. Was a nightmare on the A1 last night as a chemical tanker took fire at Dishforth junction closing the A1 and A19 which are the main trunk roads through North Yorkshire. The driver managed to remove his unit from under the trailer. No doubt so he could go home and leave the emergency services to it. | |

| I opened my front door this morning, then promptly closed it, drew the curtain, hung the keys up. Thankfully I did shopping yesterday. I also need to rest up a bit as I think I slightly overdone it. The weather up here has gone horizontal, but I feel so sorry for those people in somerset, we've had nowt compared to what they have had, and as for Cameron.....No don't get me started! Stay safe everyone. | |

Well that was fun or not last night
Sat here (yes I can hear you saying I am always sat here) looking at the sun through my mucky windows and the window cleaner came last week
This morning I have seen to the dogs and done the school run and just had some jam and toast
Hope you survived
Well as much as I would like to sit here and chat I am sorry I have to make another move as the window is annoying me

| The wind overnight certainly blew away the cobwebs. We don't appear to have sustained any damage but while walking round the garden I was surprised by the number of chirpy little birds collecting insects from the trees. Do the birds know something we don't - like spring is just a round the corner. | |

dark, wet and slightly breezy up here in Cumbria, need to get out to the van, put the heating on and finish installing my fridge, although I will need some better weather to do the outside bits. Kara, my cat is looking at me very strangely, as if to say, surely you're not going out there without me, afraid so!

We have had several local floods but nothing like down south. The pics on tv were unbelievable. Did you see the sea coming in down the street and crashing into the houses
