Another lovely start with blue sky - forecast for slightly warmer today although Allen ( wints) did say it was 29 c in the shade behind his van yesterday!!

Need to find supermarket today and stock up - pulled into one yesterday and got to entrance to find 2.5 m height barrier!!!

Have a ride down to Bournemouth with us   
It will probably have dried out and ready for starting again by end of Aug   

To be honest Bournemouth hasn't suffered too bad.

Haven't been away at all this year yet what with weather & work, but we are definitely off for a good break in march   

The weather today was supposed to be showers, they didn't tell us that they would be consecutive showers, so no windows washed so I'm off over to refurb!

I can't get away next week grand kids off school and if I remember rightly I have them some time in the week

And Ethan and Tilly are having a sleep over this Saturday

Were away on the 27th, not sure where yet though, possibly in the Ribble Valley for a van cleaning weekend

We're away tomorrow just for a long weekend to Norfolk, meeting up with Tugga.

Looks like the rains back again after a short rest bite

Not been well this week and been to Drs who can't find anything wrong but still off. Colin says to go back to Drs tomorrow.

Very grey and windy- and just started raining
Off to see granddaughter number 1 today - although she spent most of yesterday with us!

1.00am when I finally settled in bed

Started of as Alfie going to spend the night in the kitchen and Izzy in her usual place upstairs, but Alfie wouldnot settle so Izzy wouldn't.

Alfie cried then began to howl, well the chap next door gets up for work about 3 am so I was concerned about waking him.
So down I went, tried again but the howling went louder
So moved my settees round so I could bring a douvet down and I would try and sleep on the larger settee with Izzy and Alfie on the smaller, but every time Alfie stirred so did Izzy so that wasn't working.
Back to kitchen and put the barking collar on Alfie with it switched on and I returned to bed upstairs.
But the howling began again

Now I was losing the will to live and seriously thinking of phoning Janice to take Alfie home 

For my last try put Izzy and Alfie in the kitchen and a stern word or two
Now if they made a noise I didn't hear them as I was asleep till 7am this morning where I came down sorted them out before I sorted me out then off to kiddy sit Ethan and Tilly.
Tonight George is having a sleep over
So let the fn begin later but at least George and I can have a lie in , we hope

This dog sitting at home lark is harder than I thought and for how long I ask myself want to go away Friday

Lovely sunny spring like day here.

Looking at the BBC weather forecast on line the temperature is steadily climbing. 

Was hoping to go away in motorhome this weekend but daughter informs me that she is having a party for Theo's 4th birthday and would I make a cake.  Not just any cake a pirate ship cake.  Can't believe its four years since he was born.  Remember it as though it was yesterday.

I went to the spiritulist church last night and I was fascinated 
Then spent my night sleep or not 
Waking every couple of hours to a howling Alfie 
He will have to go home today 
I can't do without my beauty sleep.   

Seriously it's doing him no good or me I have a lovely headache this morning


He was going home on Thursday evening anyway but he will have to go home a night earlier

Good morning all, woke up to lovely sunshine, albeit a bit cool, so out to do a grocery shop. Into Aldi and when I came out it was raining and had turned really cold. I am now at home and the sun is shining brightly again, I must have upset the weather controller again!

Sun was out first thing but cloudy here now but still dry,  I think we have been lucky here in North Yorkshire.

Feel sorry for you Polly with the howling dog - I would send Alfie home early too.
