| I would like to organise a 14 day meet in Euroland ( it could be extended if required) somewhere for M/Hers in 2014 any time except July and August, so if your interested and would like to go lets have some ideas of where would suit the majority, what the best dates would be and what king of meet would you like i.e. sea views, countryside, historic, mountains or plain not bothered as long as there is When we get enough suggestions we can have a local meet ( average distance for all to attend) for those intending going and discuss their requirements. I would envisage if we booked onto a site or sites for 1 or 2 weeks a deposit would be required and it probably will NOT be refundable. Its your club so go on give us some ideas of what you want. | |

| I don't think we could stand 2 weeks in one place ever again as everything revolves around the weather and we can't control that. Our plan for the TDF next year may be cancelled as Jacs has been assigned a new position at work which may make a three week break out of the question. Scotland is next up! for a fortnight. Anyone fancy? | |

| not for us 2-3 weeks in one place or even on a site/sites. europe is for wandering all those wonderful place and cheap over night places to stop, why pay three times the cost . | |

| Well at least we have you all thinking, why not a tour of the Romantic Strasse in Germany, a trip along the Mosel and Rhine rivers, a cycling holiday in Holland there are thousands of places to go and see.
The Brass band contest in Ambiose France is a great event.
The wine Strasse through Germany is also very good.

| One thing is emerging already that causes a problem, that is the general consensus is a travelling around meet and not a site meet. All well and good for 2/3 or possibly 4 m/hs but if the numbers where greater it would be very difficult for us all to get on the same Aire/Stellplatz/Sosta ect. hence it would then not be a motorhomers meet if we were not altogether. | |

| When we did the Moselle area with Facts a few years back they picked large stelplatz Bob so it was ok, but I agree several vans could cause a problem. | |

| Agreed Jan, that is why I have got the info on 10 of the biggest ones from Trier to Koblenz, but honestly we have done that route so many times I would prefere a change. | |

Going on this if it were to be, then maybee we would all have to travel in small groups to a destination meet for perhaps up to 1 week on a campsite?.

| Always wanted to do the Romntic Strasse, it is on my wish list. As we speak even less German than French (that is nonexistant too) we might be interested in joining in, depending on the dates & numbers of course.
June would be our preferred month.

| Just logged on after 24hrs of grandchildren , and was interested in this thread as a meet where we spent some time in one place , but dont like the idea of moving about every or every other night ,and any more than 4 vans moving everyday and hoping to meet up at night could be a bit hit and miss and problematic | |
