Fonera simpl for free wifi

First topic message reminder :

I have bought a FonSimpl router for getting free wifi in large areas of Europe, the problem is I no longer have a BT account (gone to Sky) so I still have to pay for wifi connection even in the UK as well as Europe so I am going to sell it.

The pictures explain the way it works and it is very easy to install straight into your BT router either by wireless or Ethernet connection, input the password (on rear of router) and then your off, free wifi everywhere (well nearly everywhere)

This is the price I paid for it so I am asking just £25 p.& p. included or collect at Kettlewell so grab a bargain.

Yes all modem routers are RJ45 regardless of the incoming cable

The problem is that the Fonera simpl has been and still is not available to buy

Donot think BT own it. They are partners as are SFR and Zon amongst others.

Oh, thought I'd read somewhere it was now owned by them, I'll contact them anyway and ask when they will have stock in

Was at the daughters kiddy sitting yesterday and did not know her password to get on her internet
But
A BT open zone showed up but I couldn't re bet my Fon password 
What am I like

One thing that hasn't been mentioned here (unless I missed it) is that anyone using the Fon connection from your house, the data they use will come out of your data allowance, so if your limited, just hope you don't get a lot connecting to it.
On BT though, the Fon side of the router doesn't come out of your allowance.

You'd think they would have a UK distribution place

Right Polly, Its arrived, now how do I log in to change all the settings?

Too late, it's all set up   
I have set it up as a wi-fi extender and put it upstairs where my wi-fi starts dropping off, bit slower than the main wi-fi box but still fast enough
