Weather is lovely and sunny and warm here in Stocky

Been looking at prices of Physios and Cairopractise

So bought myself a wheat bag to warm up
And this morning used the power jets on my shower
Had a word with the chemist about what tablets I can take 
So looking on the positive side 
The old saying we have is it's got to get worse before it gets better, so hopefully this is the worse 

Ok I'll stop moaning about it but it does hurt 

Suppose that is what happens when you have no one at home to moan at

Polly I am sorry to hear your back is still hurting. Do you think you slipped a disc in your spine when you fell. The pain isn't felt near the spine but at the nerve ending where the disc rests.

Debbie your motorhome looks amazing. Worth all that hard work.

Supposed to be a fine warm weekend here but according to Peter we will be sweeping up yet more leaves.

Back from a Primark shop
Christmas jumper bought
My bill came to £89 but I only spent £42 
Blooming grandkids
Good job I save my pound coins, just about covers it and I was back pain free, just aching now

Off to Disney on Ice tomorrow but didn't buy a princess outfit

Had fun fitting new flooring in bathroom at home after leak and as I finished I  found another leak from the sink this time -now sorted!!

Did someone say batten down the hatch's, spent Saturday night in Hawes doing a crazy dance all night, and today hasn't been any better, and climbing some of those hills against a headwind till I finally got back on the M6 was no joke. Did I forget to take anything......tea bags!

After a wet day yesterday appears we are going to have a fine day.

Woke up yesterday to find water supply turned off. Found out it was a major pipe burst in the next Hamlet and Yorkshire Water weren't aware until much later in the morning. Thank heavens for American kettles and motorhomes - we were able to cope. Just to make the day more interesting we also had a LOLER Inspection so required more water than usual for all the teas and coffee. Water supply returned about 5.30pm.

Back from Christmas cake making at our Ethan's school

They asked for helpers for the year 6 traditional Christmas Cake Bake and Ethan asked if I could help. Well if course granny's can do lots of things.
Then they said relations are not put together, but I said ok if Ethan still wanted me to help I would.

Well I am back and the bending over as brought back my stabbing pain grrrrrrrrrr not had it for 2 days the ache yes but not the pain grrrrr 

Anyway the lads were brilliant lets hope the cakes turn out well

Another fine day here.

Polly I don't do much baking now as it gives me backache and I suffer for days after. But you mentioning Christmas cakes gave me a shock as I hadn't thought of baking one yet. Will have to go look in garage freezer and hope I have one in stock.

I always baked the Christmas cakes in October half term which is next week.
I have not made any since my hubby died.
Also my mum and dad and in laws are no longer with us , so I buy fruit slabs now for ME
I also don't make my mince pies

Our Ethan who as made a cake at school as asked if we can take it to George's on Christmas Day
So thoughtful

Mind you I am demolishing Asda shop bought mince pies and stollen bites from Aldi

As for Christmas puds Aldi or Lidle mini ones

Lovely morning here in Stocky but must have been raining at some point as the back lawn it very wet.
We are going for a break to The Wirral CC site till Friday then Southport
Amazing how our Claire  and the kids seems to enjoy these little jaunts
There becoming more frequent 
Just glad thee are only 2 seat belts and she as 2 kiddy winks , get my drift so to speak

Morning Polly, I is ere.   Cat gets me up about 5.30 ish by walking over my head and giving me a a few bats with her paw.

A dull start and it's cold, but now we have full sun and blue sky, so where to go for a day out, might head out to the Solway coast for a while....good idea.

My back was painless yesterday , this morning lseems ok, but my stomach muscles are aching , so will have another lazy day.
This I am hoping will help my back pain

Our George had his plaster off yesterday and thinks he will be on his bike at weekend . I don't think so
Doc and plaster staff are great with him,treated him as a long lost son,  they say don't want to see him again , let's hope they don't

So a new one must be bought

I bought one about 3 years ago due to Izzy chewing it  cost £45
Now they are £65

Well today has gone all pear shaped, wet, cold and windy, but yesterday was such a nice day, so I found a spot overlooking the river Nith, south of Dumfries, and had a long lunch there.

I should have been helping but with me back , well I am helping by taking Tilly out.

Well what lovely shopping day 20% of my boots from Clarks because they cost so much and then a Cardy I bought in Tesco was 50% off so pleased

Now I am sitting having ginger nut biscuits and coffee after filling the motorhome up with water and sorting the gas box out and then hoovering my car out , think that is it  and an added bonus not pain in my back

No not really but it's nice to get something so easy 
I am not lover of shoes I would live in crocs so to go and buy some , well boots just like that is brill for me 
And the Cardy 
Hoovering the car after son took it over to Newcastle yesterday to pick George's engine up
And yes the water I usually leave it till it rains and the gas box was a leak but think I have sorted it .of to Chatsworth on Thursday till Saturday as have a 21 st party on Saturday  evening which rugby players are going to 
Then another spot of dog sitting the following weekend
