Date - 24th to 29th Nov
Meal on site - NO but 2 pubs within walking distance - Stags Head and Grapes Inn
A meal has been arranged in the Stags Head for 17:00 on Friday 25th November
EHU - YES
Cost per night - £6.00 No EHU or £9.50 with 6 amp EHU
Fully equipped function room available with bar

We have booked the rally area which has 12 x 6 Amp EHU points which will be allocated on a first come first served basis
With it only being 6 amp it would be hard to share if people are using the electric for heating, fridges hot water etc but if anyone is willing to use it just for charging their leisure battery and running other things off gas then it will be possible, I am willing to do this if needed, or another way is we could share the electric, use leisure batteries one day then use electric the next, I'm sure we will sort something out so no-one runs short of power

They have decided they are having the band night on Saturday so we will not have use of the clubhouse on that night but we will be able to attend this but their will be an admission charge - it is a local band that is on called "The Rockets" I will see if I can find any links

I have booked the meal for Friday the 25th at 17:00

We are! as we are in the area this weekend, to save coming back home on Sunday and then coming all the way back again on Thursday, we have booked on the site from Sunday.
Gives me chance to sample some of the beers.

Got the lurgy, nose like a tap and getting sore now
Fingers crossed it will have gone by Thursday

get 2 buckets of water.one as hot as you can stand the other as cold as you can,
start with putting your head in the cold 1 for as long as possible{face submerged}
then into the hot 1 for as long as possible{dont submerge your face}
keep repeating this until the temprature subsides,then repeat twice.
  you will be cured.

i should not be giving you this information as i was sworn to,well work it out.
who dares wins.

I'll wait until Adele catches it and let her try it out, if it works I'll do it

Good morning to all...very sunny here in Leyland after a hard frost, but my garden is still waterlogged after all the recent rain.
As we are not far from Whittingham I'm a little worried about the ground conditions there...have we all got hardstanding ? I'm definetly not driving my 5 tonne van on grass.

Right...mini disaster...after visiting the rally field yesterday and meeting up with Adele, Pauline, Polly, & Joe, we got home to be greeted by a leak in the back bedroom roof. The roofer is going to look at it this afternoon, and hopefully fix it Saturday. So, it's now very unlikely that we'll be able to attend.

So so friendly that's what I like about this club 

3 brand new members out and they really really enjoyed it

Anyway tea was lovely
Made it back to club  and then I had an early night, catching up with myself.
This morning my head feels ok like my body

This pub/restruant  pulled together to serve us with a a two or three course meal at short notice.
They managed to provide an amp,e dining room and serve meals all together

Another great xmas meet , thanks to all who organised ,meal was great (so perhaps it was good the Stags Head landlord did a runner) as was the venue and music.Chinese raffle a must for all the meets (nearly got a bottle of baileys but like Marge ended with nothing   )Great fun.

I settled myself down with laptop on knee and external hard drive with photos on
izzy as been fed so should go to sleep for half and hour.
