First topic message reminder :

Good afternoon motorhomers ,   back home now all washng sorted van still in a mess from christmas meet though. weather wise it's turned bitterly  cold in Shrewsbury ,   sleet in with the heavy  rain.  So glad weather was kind to us for the Christmas meet. Been trying to work my way round the website ive managed to start a  topic  and post xmas  imoj's  lol

Now I might not be very techinicol and I am beginning to panick I might need a new sat nav.
Mine died on me going to Dale Hey  last weekend so before I left I thought I charged it up but it died on me again. So it looks as though it's not holding its charge.
Is this possible
If I am looking at a new one any recommendations, mines a tom tom go? Which I added the truck info eg size and weight etc .
Still have the truck disc so could add it ( or someone else could) to a new one .
But I like my old one
And I have loads of info on it that someone put on for me

I am a happy bunny
Sorted my belovered sat nav out
It was the wire not charging it up.
Found another wire and he is now talking to me again and telling either to turn left or right.
Didnt reliaze how much I had missed him talking to me
So all seems ok

On family hol at the moment at Hafan Y Mor Pwllheli been lovely weather Saturday and Sunday but today wet and cold

Don't know if you have been before but LOVELY site and amenities. Wardens are lovely

We were a little disappointed as they were doing the activity area up. We were informed and Ok we did have a £20 voucher but only junior segs were for our kiddy . . But not the extent of no roller scaring re incedents aOpening This weekend and looks lovely.
Love this site and we go to the entertainment at 9.00 (when 1/4-1/2 of them are going so can find a seat.
Don't know how old your little great granddaughter is but we went to Brecon cLimbing center at Carnefon brilliant and our Tilly enjoyed junior segs . Our 15 year old had nothing really .

Hi Polly our little one is 2 years old today  so not big enough for the activities yet lol, we did 2 haven breaks with her last year , presthaven sands which we didn’t really like 25 minutes walk to the entertainment complex  or shop and very busy no access to beach with buggy, but then we went to green acres Porthmadog and absolutely loved it, we are going back to that one again but also going to haf-y-mor , but sounds nice looking forward to it , thanks for the input, how far was it to complex from caravan/camping area ?

Hi everyone been a while since I posted on this thread.  Hope everyone is well and enjoying the British summer.  We are looking forward to catching up with folk at the Xmas meet.  We are home for a few weeks catching up with a few jobs. . 
Love seeing all Kens news & pics on fbook of his & Adele's Scottish travels.  We have been on Shell island the last few weeks with friends for my birthday celebrations.

Amanda is getting excited now  she is counting the day's to christmas and  so looking forward to the christmas meet she has been sorting out her  jumpers that she will be bringing with her. she is going to  miss All those not coming this year and so shall will we

Mine to is the same one as last year the Villa on. Just booked my ticket for the Molineux on the 10th November. 
It should be a good game.

It really doesn’t matter that you will be in the same jumper it’s the fact that you will be getting into the Christmas spirit of things get a few pints down ya you will even forget you will be wearing one

Monday my car wouldn't start. Flat battery thought I had left something on over the weekend.
So that's when my 3 days of grrrrrrrrrrrr began
Monday was Line dancing lessons so our George took me and I got a lift back
Tuesday meeting x colleagues for a meal couldn't put them off again , so our Claire drove and picked me up.
GOOD neighbour put battery onto charge for a couple of hours nothing.
put it on for 3 hours.  Nothing
Wednesday morning my Good Neighbour took my battery of and put it on charge in their house, then he went to spend the day in hospital  ( he has developed a blood disorder)
They were keeping him in longer so his son in law put my battery back on but nothing.
So then I began my search for a battery but by now places were closed
Rememberedr one I had a MH battery from after my good friend Sharron jogged my memory by saying try them
Wednesday evening was Rock & Roll night son Carl took me and I got a lift back. But I was so so wound up but enjoyed the evening but didn't dance just drank
Thursday. I phoned they came they fitted
All tension gone
What a few days
HATE asking for peoples help but that's what I gave to do and they say they don't mind. But I still like to be independent
Think the tensions gone but I need a drink not to high but not come down that much

So there you go that's my week

Now i just have to sort the noise from my motorhome headlight
Thought it might even be an animal caught up but don't know.
But I don't drive in the dark so no need for headlights. Could have been doing it for years and I didn't know as I don't use them , just to flash an acknowledgement

Izzy is ok in herself. The lump is ok seems to have gone down , still there and bleeds now and again .
She has a few lumps and bumps well Tags .
This one on her head started as a tag then seemed to grow then explode.
But she is ok wanting attention as per usual. And she is very good, let's me sort it out

Went to Bakewell Christmas Market today.
It was heaving
We were directed into the agricultural carpark from the back , we qued (sorry don't seem to be able to spell it).
We qued  and I mean qued for a parking ticket.
We qued coming out at the main entrance as people were queuing to go in. We timed it just right
Counted 18 motorhomes at Bakewell Agricultural park also about 8 on the rally field today. BUT some may be to do with the market traders.
The river was really high
But good day and lunch in the farmers market where the que was tiny.

But I had to say goodbye to Izzy on Tuesday with the support of my sister in Law and the Vet Dora
My face aches with the tears
Our home is so so quite,
2 glasses of whiskey and 1/2 block of chocolate doesn't dull the feeling
My head hurts this morning think it's a hangover

Izzy had a great time travelling in the mototorhome, she loved her second home

Sad time Polly. Thinking of you. Izzy was a lovely dog. She was also a very lucky dog to have you as her chauffer. Lots of adventures, lots of memories for you to look back on.

They are doing a 3 day V E Day event a week later.
