Good afternoon motorhomers ,   back home now all washng sorted van still in a mess from christmas meet though. weather wise it's turned bitterly  cold in Shrewsbury ,   sleet in with the heavy  rain.  So glad weather was kind to us for the Christmas meet. Been trying to work my way round the website ive managed to start a  topic  and post xmas  imoj's  lol

Well what a lovely morning
Managed a short stroll with Izzy. She was going stir crazy yesterday.
Bit chilly but will put my BIG coat on when we go to Manchester to track down the 12 Snowmen.
Sunny, dry but chilly 
Can't be bad .

Having a chill day today after the snacking yesterday.

Nice two hour stroll with Holly this morning which was much needed after yesterday’s weather enforced stay in.
Came back home to a nice leg of lamb roast dinner.

Well I am home from our task of seeing the 12+snowmen at the Lowery Manchester.
We sailed through, no traffic and easy parking. Not to busy . Lots of family's on the snowmen trail. Which was about2+miles around .
I will post some photos 
Oh weather was lovely and dry ,little chilly but we were wrapped up. Finished off with Hot chocolates all round , well the 4 of us.
Shattered  but good
Did see a couple of bees and the open top bus, but they wouldn't let me go on th bus. That's another day

Afternoon we three are down with Flu feeling very sorry for our selves.  Bill however felt up to taking our shower tray and cubicle out could smell damp so sit needed investigating he said.  Now have one big mess.  Dust every where from tile cutter he had to put in three new tiles that were broken.  So wished he had left this job alone. .  I'm going back to bed hoping when i wake up it will be a dream.  LolL.  Are you all ready for Christmas?

Fancy letting that poor bloke work when he's just getting over the flu. 
He should be sitting watching telly drinking hot toddies, a scarf round neck and a jar of Vick at his side.

Well wanted to go up the motorway to Ashton today but weather to bad to walk around the market.
Was doing some family history yesterday (after taking Izzy out for her walk) and created a whole new family then reliaze  naaaaaaaaa not in our tree so then had to set about deleting it .
Oh well would have beeen nice to know we were related to the queen 
Only kidding but yes it was the right name, nearly the right date, the right occupation, but not the right area no matter how I tried to make them fit.

Good night  singer was Colin Paul
He didn't impersonate Elvis or Billy Fury.
He performed songs from the early 60's.
 He was good, lots of people jiving. Didn't reliaze people still danced it. Well I know Frank and Marg can jive.
Good to listen to, to sing along and jive to.
I didn't have a go at jiving as I'm hopeless, but did some hand jiving and sing along.
BUT
January will be having lessons , so let's wait and see

Well all this rushing around organising Christmas.
YEA 
Not me was taken out of my hands a few years back.
So on the hole/whole/ole!!! It's been fairly relaxed.
Christmas seems to have come  around so so quickly.
Just  to organise the pooch and myself to go to my daughters on Christmas Eve after the Pantomine.
Stay over there then to Sons for Christmas Day
Boxing Day back to daughters for roast Beef and Yorkshire pud dinner.
Drop pooch of at sister in laws as off to Blackpool on 27 for 3 nights 
Then get myself ready for New Years Eve wherever we go. But for sure I WONT BE SAT IN THE CORNER OF SOMEONES HOUSE LIKE LAST YEAR.

So yes hope I remember where I am on which day .

Hope you all have a lovely day. After 64 years of traditional Christmas Day Turkey dinners , I'm going with some of the family for an Indian meal. My suggestion, will let you know later if I will do it again.

I am looking forward to an idle afternoon, no washing up, no cooker to clean.

Afternoon well Christmas has gone and Amanda has started her countdown for next year lol

Just had 3 days at Blackpool in a hotel 

Well 2 nights and 3 days

Cheap as chips. Went with a couple of friends, has I haven't done this sort of holiday/break before.
Coach and hotel
Fed and watered . And entertainment Freddy (not as good as our Freddy) no band .
Oh and Saturday Abby looked as though the lads had put some weight on. Not bad
Well fairly good after afew drinks.
Two drinks 4the price of one
So for a tenner roughly
2 pints of lager
2pints of beer
2brandys
Not bad 
And I had a win on Bingo £105 I shared with my 2 friends  as I'm not mean. Mind you we nearly fell out about it . 
So for £45 I got
Good warm bedroom and lovely bathroom
Breakfast for 3 days
Tea for 2 days
Entertainment as such
A Day trip to Liverpool.
We also used our bus passes to go to Clevelys another first for me.

This was my first time on a coach holiday.
Not sure I would go alone  no I wouldn't go alone but with some friends it can be fun for a few days.
