No more snow here either but a biting wind -walking club have cancelled the walk planned for today- well it was in the Derbyshire hills!

Chilli here in Huddo.... just going to fit a radiator and service a boiler... I love friends......

Roads are mainly clear now, cannot stay in any longer...so taking Julies mum & dad out for dinner.

Another covering of snow this morning and its still falling - supposed to be babysitting today - will make a decision later when have listened to traffic reports- and cleared car and drive!!-again!!

No more snow down here but ice is the main issue.Should be able to get outside do a bit to the garden etc...

Didn't go to grandaughters yesterday as had more snow which made our roads treacherous- so spent time clearing it from drive, front , boats and next door neighbours- guess what -we have had some more overnight!!

Morning its now raining with sleet down here, hope it doesn't freeze!.Off to visit friends later who are staying on a c/c cl site.

Relentless sleet all day yesterday, gray & miserable this morning...the weather's not much better either
Had to cancel last night so will hopefully see friends later before they get ferry from Portsmouth.

Yesterday I too my physio's word of trying out my walking boots on a different terrain instead of pavement walking so off to the park we went the paths were a little icy so I walked on the grass with my walking pole. Izzy had a good run around with a couple of friends so I hadn't walked at all far could still see the car park. We carried on doing our normal route but on grass when we was halfway up the hill (Stockport as loads of hills) my ankle decided enough was enough and the pain was excruciating so I could do no more than turn around and go back to the car. On driving home I had to stop and take my boot off it was so so painful.

So it may look that I have to hang up my boots so to speak and just do the strolls

My ankle had swollen up and today is painful and now and then get a sharp pain I feel all the physio's work as been undone I will see him next week

I am here again well it is lunch time

I bought Izzy a barking collar like Molly's (Tessajoe)
We have had it nearly a month and Izzy doesn't wear it all I have to do is show it to her.
I mopped my kitchen floor today and all she did was a little whimper now and again not the loud howls or barking.
Also she as been sat in her favourite spot on the front room window sill watching the goings and comings of workmen (over the road) in high vis jackets, bob hats & hoodys and all we had was a growl and no demented barking.

I am not saying she doesn't bark and that the collar will not be used again but what a great improvement

If its worked then its worth the money

Just back from granddaughters where I bumped into a strange man!!!!!
Weather as we came back was heavy snow that was settling- just a few flakes here at moment

according to the weather thingy on my phone it will be shorts weather on Tuesday but umbrella will be needed at times
today loy lighter might be due to sun tryng to shine out no snow but a little rain/hailstone but no wind

We had a lot of snow last night in the Anglian Region. It was the wet stuff and it settled. Today our road looks like an ice rink, but the sun is shining and the temperatures are rising; 1.7 degrees C at the moment. Think I will stay inside today, dont fancy any slips and slides and possible broken bones

Decided to make a small folding table today out of what ever I can find in the shed to keep inside the m/h while travelling.

Well the sun is out so it looks as if it could be a nice day although a touch cold. We have been in Malta for just over a week and have had some rubbish weather, cold winds & torrential rain. Their roads can't cope with the rain so plenty of flooding, some days it's been like driving down a river bed.

Our large apartment with its marble floors seems permanently cold so looking forward to our warm bungalow later this week.

Just back from Doncaster where we had 6 inches of snow Friday night. Then most melted in rain but returned home to find plenty still on yard and garden and now it's just hailed!

We'd about 3" Friday night but all gone this morning, we arrived home to hail too, just as we got in the house, nice timing
