For those wanting to go for a meal on the Friday or Saturday we could take advantage of the 3 course  meal before 4.30 for £14.95 ? See above posts for the menus would need numbers so please let me know . 
I have also asked Dave at the club to see if he is cooking bar meals on the Friday night . I’ll let you know when he gets back to me .

Kate I have just copied this from last year’s meet, I also think there was a maximum cost of the present but cannot remember, perhaps Polly could jog my memory.
Please bring a wrapped present for every occupant of your van (IE 1 x male present and 1 x female present per couple) for father Christmas

Just to keep you updated :thought I'd  let you know The grapes (where we ate last year) didn't get back to me with menus I did check them out on Facebook today to see if their new chef had started,   here is the link to their fbook and page and a pic of their Sunday dinner.  I personally am not impressed with their lack of communication or their Sunday roast but I'll leave you to make your own mind up.  If everyone is happy for me to book The staggs head let me know

Hi I have spoke to the management at the stag’s head they have said if we prefer the Christmas menu to the Sunday lunch menu they could if they new numbers and what folk would want early enough they  could try and order the food in from their suppliers . BUT they would need this  ASAP Their Christmas menu doesn’t normally start till Dec 1St. Have a look at both menus we personally would prefer the Christmas one as more choice and all sounds delicious . 
ALSO PLEASE NOTE if you have not got your name down yet for the Sunday meal but wish to attend can you let me know ASAP to book the tables so we can all be together in same room please . Kind regards Kate 

Sorry meant to say we will go with the flow when I first read the Christmas menu I thought we also got choice of three meats but it is only the turkey so will understand if folk still want just to stick with the traditional Sunday roast menu

Also just incase you missed my post on page 2,  if you don't fancy cooking whilst you are staying there they also do a Monday to Sat menu with good choices 1course £6.95

Sorry Simon i do have a tendancy to confuse matters . When i rang the pub previously regarding a meal out for the group they had said there could be a possibility that we could have the christmas  menu (doesnt normally start  til the 1st of Dec ) if they were given order and numbers in  enough time . When i first  posted  re meal we were Thinking of having it on the  Saturday night but folk wanted Sunday roast instead . So we opted for the Sunday..  Rang the pub today to confirm 23 for the sunday lunch . I just  asked the question  if the xmas menu could be available on the sunday if people wanted it . So i need numbers and choices . I dont think there will be a problem with folk wanting  the basic sunday lunch as they will be  serveing it anyway .  . Bill also likes the duck so think we will be going for that . . 


Re other menu's thought id just post them on here for folk to look at,  think they are good value for money if you eat before 4.30 we are thinking of possibly going saturday afternoon  but will dedecide once we are there .
